Anyone looking forward to this movie?

I'm glad they didnt go with "Smallville the Movie" or another restart. Seems this movie will answer all the criticisms of the character and why we need him.

As far as Brandon Routh, yeah he looks a little bit younger than Chris Reeve did when he played the role, but I give him the benefit of the doubt. Routh also has a very deep heroic voice.

I'm also looking forward to the 30's/futuristic Metropolis and the much more serious, evil Lex.

Any other thoughts?

Good question. I think I will like X3 the best because I am more of a fan of X-Men then the others. I think the best actual movie will be Superman because Bryan Singer is awesome.

Personally, I'm looking forward to Superman Returns over X3. Spider-Man 3 really isnt on my radar yet. Too long til it comes out.

This is Superman not Spider-Man.

however, let me say- I am intrigued by the plot of this third installment. I just hope to god they dont cram Venom into this movie and instead leave a cliff hanger ending where Brock becomes Venom. Sandman & GG2 are enough for one movie not to mention all the other character archs and relationships.

overall, I think these movies are good but mediocore and really lack an edge to them. I think Superman Returns will be more epic and timeless.

Plus the Peter Parker of these movies needs some wit and sarcasm to him.
