Nate and Sam from The Format (http://www.theformat.com) will be answering questions for members of The Living Room; ranging from what you want to know about their new album, Dog Problems, and to anything else you can imagine. Send anything you want to ask and have answered to the band; make sure you submit them before 6:00PM EST on Thursday, April 13th. They'll address twenty of the ones submitted and will post the answers on Tuesday, April 18th.

will this record be any good? I heard the Snails EP and it was a dud in my opinion. They switched out the piano for an organ on Janet and it ruined the energy of the song. Snails was really, really good and then there was Your New Name which was drawn out and boring. Dear Boy was a terrible attempt at just the opposite, a little weird and not nearly engaging at all.

I'm waiting to hear studio versions of Faith in Fast Cars, Dog Problems, I'm Actual (but even that's a little boring), and maybe a better version of Janet. I hope it doesn't suck, these guys can write and they care about their music and how its arranged, I just think sometimes they get a little too indulgent on their new stuff and then it just sounds like a 17 year old singer-songwriter. we shall see though, we shall see. I've been waiting and I dont expect it to sound like "Interventions."

i have my reasons and my concerns, I won't be bought by hype . . . not in this instance at least.
