Oh yeah, for sure—Nick Cage is terrible. But since Herzog's involved and they've changed the location to New Orleans, I'm at least interested.

Just finished it. Not his best, but I'm quite enjoying it. Just a Michael Shannon powerhouse, for the most part. And it's nice to see Dafoe play a more muted part than he usually does. More of a calm/relaxed, teaching cop-type instead of some maniacal prick. And Sevigny was good ... I've always liked her.


Just feels like Werner having fun and exploring. Not gonna argue with that.
