The Starting Line (http://www.absolutepunk.net/thestartingline) might be recording their show tomorrow night in Sayreville, NJ for a live album. Also, the band updated their MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/thestartingline) page with the latest installment in their "Best (and Worst) of Me" fan videos series.

Don't get me wrong, I like TSL's music a lot but I have seen them live three times now and they were horrible the first two times. They were much improved when I saw them a month ago but they are not an "excellent" live band in my eyes although they are improving.
gay porn isn't as gay as that video.
spare me the lame jokes i know someone will make

I've only seen them twice, however once was back in 2003 (the second time being in '05), and they were solid both times.

The manner in which they play their songs live have always been speculated on. (Like their sudden changes in tempo and such.) If I remember it correctly, Matt even addressed this issue in one of the interviews held by AP. However, their SIFB tour has been phenomenal. All their songs sounded exactly like the recording, the energy was intense and like always, TSL was impressive. This live album is way overdue... thank god, they've finally decided to cook one up for us. I'm sure it will sound awesome and hell, they've always been a little underrated (especially BOATS.) They deserve the amount of respect they're due and maybe if this live album is realized, they might just get it.

A live cd is way overdue. 8-) The only live recording i have heard is the one song on a Drive Thru Invasion cd that was done back in '03 I think. Sounds like it was done in a big venue (crowd noise was impressive).
These boys deserve to be as big as FOB in my humble opinion. :D
I can't wait for the show morrow...then off to see Day at the fair then 2 more TSL shows (philly & AC). :)

They're playing an even mix of old and new songs (8 from each album) and then a new one.

Back again..:[
I wonder why the hit the TLA instead of The Elec Factory this time. They sold out the elec factory back in dec but they did not have as many area shows (Starland & AC) so maybe that is why...hmm...though since they added HIPV, I think they should have moved it to a bigger venue like the Troc at least.
eh either way going to be a great show...:D
