If you go to whatismae.com, the new site eventually loads but it's going really slow and I can't get any of the things to work on the site, but it looks pretty cool. I don't think it's officially launched yet, seeing as how their old site is still up and has been updated today without mention of the new site. It'll probably be up officially later tonight or tomorrow for our viewing pleasure.

the everglow had the WORST "staying power" of any album i've ever heard.

its the only record i really liked for about two weeks and then never wanted to listen to again...ever.

I thought Destiantion: Beautiful was a great album compared to The Everglow. The writing on Destination:Beautiful was just so much more original and refreshing in my opinion. I still think there are some cool songs on The Everglow, but I thought it would be better.

The re-release would've been worthwhile if it wasn't for the horrid version of "Suspension" with Kenny Vasoli, and I heard the new artwork is gonna be disappointing. But good thing they took out that shitty cover of "March of the Pigs".

Mae - The Everglow was my album of the year last year. They are an amazing band, one of, if not my favs. And Im damn excited about the re-release

i'm going to have to agree with you on this one. i love the band. i love destination beautiful and the b-sides cd. but the everglow is just way too mediocre in my book. they are still one of my favrite live bands to watch though.
