Affirmitive Action

I figured everyone is tired of talking about the "War on Terror", so for a change of pace, I want to know what you guys think about affirmitive action. I'm relatively new here, sorry if this has been done many times.

there has already been a thread like this. i made a seriously awesome post. read it. i made more sense than i ever have.

and affirmitive action is wrong

affirmative action breeds racism and resentment. To really acheive racial equality and peace, every race must forget the past, and start over. It really is the only way to make things better. Forgive and forget, or, not even that. We can learn about the horrible things that happened 30+ years ago, so as not to repeat them, but we should not remember it accusingly. Don't hate the kid in your math class because his great great grandfather owned slaves. It's not the kid's fault. This generation had no part in any of the racial violence that occured 30+ years ago, and we are exempt from all accusations. I think it is up to our generation to begin the process of starting over.
