I saw the Blink/FOB/PATD tour last night and loved it. The interesting thing, however, was that I was expecting Blink to run away with the show and in my eyes they were shown up by FOB. I've seen them both live before and had found them both to be great, and maybe Blink's rusty, but after leaving the show it seemed like FOB should be back in the headline position where they belong rather than in a supporting role.

I love the line-up of this tour, but did anybody else think FOB performed better than Blink at your tour stop?

I love Fall Out Boy but you're wrong here. Blink is better live. Besides this is a fucking Blink-182 reunion tour. As much as I want Fall Out Boy to have a tour based off of FUCT and TTYG, it won't happen.

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but Tom sounds awful live, compared to P. Stump. I'm seeing FOB and Blink in September so I guess I'll be the judge there.

I know it's Blink's tour, I was just expecting them to be the best act I saw last night and they weren't. I saw Blink on the pop disaster tour when they toured with Green Day and I couldn't have been happier with their performance. Last night just wasn't up to snuff.

blink are extremely weak musically. Anyone who says blink is better musically than FOB is just in denial. Same with Panic.

Don't get me wrong, I love blink and think they write some great songs, but they are definetly not the best performers (aside from Travis).

I don't think record sales are such a great judge though anymore to be honest (even though, I agree with you about blink being the bigger band.)
I was there last night too and thought Blink was great. FOB were amazing, but the energy and excitement that came with Blink made their set so much better. Plus, Travis is a fucking beast.
I don't think it matters that much though because I thought all four bands did really awesome. I wasn't very impressed with Chester French, but they definetly weren't as bad as I thought they were going to be.
Bottom line: Blink>FOB all things considered.

If you are talking about the MN show last night I don't know what the fuck you are talking about. Blink kicked FOB's ass, besides tom forgetting all the words. Plus we got to see Mark sing the end of First Date.

I am talking about the MN show last night, and there's not a chance blink was better other than Travis's solo. Tom forgot all the words, sung off-key every single time he opened his mouth, and recited the same line 18 times about how somebody fucked their dad (whether it was mark or a random guy in the audience). I'm a big blink fan, but they were 100x better on the pop disaster tour with green day some time ago than they were last night. At Pop Disaster they played the songs well, were a hell of a lot funnier on stage (Mark even made a picnic on stage with a fan from the audience with a picnic basket and blanket), and were working hard. Last night felt like coasting.

Fall Out Boy played with energy, hit the songs perfectly, and got the crowd moving. I'm sorry, but I just don't agree with you.

Oh I just meant that they should be a headliner on a tour. I didn't mean they should headline a tour that also had Blink on it. I was at the xcel energy center in MN. The light-up guitars were pretty sweet. I had seen them use them before, but it's still always fun when they bring them out. I also gained a lot of respect for them that they would stop mid-song to make sure a fan wasn't hurt. There are a lot of bands that wouldn't have even noticed... or cared.

I wish! I had gotten my tickets through work so I couldn't get GA. I tried sneaking down several times but the ushers wouldn't let me. The last FOB show I was at I was in the pit. It can get fierce down there. I'm just really glad that FOB cared enough to stop. And I was shocked at how well they picked it back up right in the middle of the song. Brookfield stinks haha, I hope to move into an apartment in downtown Milwaukee. I love the city.

The U is an amazing school. It was always my top choice. When I got in (very near the end of my senior year, I waited all year for a response), I cried. I cried on my first day and on my last - I loved that school and that city just as much on my last day as I did my first.
