anyone else find it strange that we can't count on our allies (france, germany...) and yet a complete stranger risked his life for one US soldier?
i don't find it odd at all, it's not france's germany's england's or our war.

lets see... what's more biased, airing pro-war commercials and propaganda about our troops between shows or stating facts about us practicly making saddam what he is today... or was a few days ago.

again, you forget that France, Germany, and Russia, also gave them those weapons, but you tend to ignore those facts...

how do i ignore that? france germany and russia aren't accusing them of having those weapons cuz they know they gave them to him.

How is being pro war bias?
It is no more bias, then being anti-war is ignorance!

having an opinion isn't bias, but providing partial information with pro-war propaganda about our troops every commercial is biased.
and yea, it's really ignorant to not want to kill or die needlessly.

I've never seen a pro-war commercial on the normal fox stations, unless its for a show that might be on later that is in support of the troops.
Also your last line showed you ignorance and spreading of partial truths/information.

i've seen "support our troops" commercials about every break. and yea, i did exaderate (go ahead, correct my spelling) a bit, i just don't see a cause that justifies this war, though there are causes none of them are good enough reasons for people to die for them.

Why cause the Iraqi people aren't the same color as you or don't speak the same language, why is there freedom or there oppression not of any importances to you?
Also what are you going to say when we find the weapons in iraq that weren't shipped to syria?

partial fact. you'll never see a news segment on 'how saddam got his chemical/biological weapons, training for his soldiers, and the basically ability to stay in power this long.' cuz that would make america look bad. and no america can never be wrong.

it's not that i support saddam, he shouldn't ever have been in power but we should have thought of that before spporting him with his war on iran. it's just not our job to take him out of power.

actually they did have stories on about this. You cant watch a stations once or twice and think that you can tell what stories they go after. Also any connection we did have with iraq was 20 plus yrs ago, so we had very little help with training of his soliders now or keeping him in power for this long (that was another group of nations but i dont want to get into the argument) and as for weapons, yes we gave him some, but not as many or as damaging effect as some other nations. ALso do you know why we gave him those weapons?

So who's then? Certainly not the UN, they don't give a fuck about people, so who then.

for their war with iran, and regardless of the amounts, we gave him chem/bio weapons and called him "a stabalizing force in the middle east"

no complete fact, I was referring to yeat's original post. Then it was said how biased fox news is. That is not a biased article, it's completely true.
congradulations to fox for making one unbiased article, all in all fox is a very biased organization.

Just like every news agency right? Why pick on just fox, nightly news on abc, nbc, and cbs are much more bias.
I guess we should all just turn off our lights and sit in a dark closet, right, and ignore the outside world.

Where would you suggest people get their news. What place is unbiased to you?
every news organization is slightly biased but some more than others, fox is very biased.
and to justin: i only mentioned fox because that was the news organization brought up, if there was a more biased news source with an article posted i would be talking about how biased they were.

Where do you get your news.
i get mine from a large number of scources so i'm not having an opinion fed to me, i read conservative and liberal news then make my own opinion, some places are: the times, indy meadia,
independent press association, the daily news, the n.y. post and more.

there is no independent press, they may be smaller and less known, but they are not independent.
And this smaller presses tend to be more bias, both conserv. and lib. sites, because they speak to a smaller group that is more willing to hear opinions rather then true news.

and how do you know i don't get my news from various sources? maybe fox was the last one i happened to read and thus copied the URL into my post? its funny that once you are proven wrong about this story being fact and not opinion you casually admit that fox made one unbiased article, when in fact the majority of their reports are no more or less biased than any other source.

and what is even funnier, rather than admit that this man is a hero, you attack the news agency that reported it...

actually at first i did neither, i wasn't the one who brought up fox being biased... so yea that was pretty funny.
