Hidden in Plain View (http://www.absolutepunk.net/hiddeninplainview) have recorded a ton of demos and are now ready to get into the studio to record their new album. The band has been talking to producers but are still undecided on who they will pick to produce the upcoming album.

damn whats up with clowning on drive thru its business and if you havent been reading the news is they got that taken care of but yeah looking foward to it seeing which way they decide to go for the new record

life in dreaming, easily one of my favorite cds from 05.

yeah it shuold be good i didnt know they were this close to working on though which is a good thing, and they are definatly still on drive-thru

well if you want the real scoop, here ya go:

we've been shacked up the past 3 months in this house. so far we have anywhere from 17-20 songs, and a handful of other ideas. the demos have been coming out great.. we feel we are in a much better position for this record than we were for Life In Dreaming.. its the 2nd go around, ya know? we are hoping to have this out asap.. BUT we have to record it first. nothing finalized with any producers, but we're spending the weeks discussing it. if anything were to hold up the record it would be artwork, new mixes, us not turning in song titles cause we are bad with that, and/or chris's hawaiian wedding. hopefully not the latter, but thats the only state that will let him.

as for drive thru, yes we are still on the label. this record will be released through drive thru records. seems like people give them a hardtime about release dates.. alot of things in the music industry are beyond your control, you just have to roll with the punches. that being said, WE ARE FINALLY GOING BACK ON TOUR TOMORROW WITH THE STARTING LINE AND GATSBYS AMERICAN DREAM AND CARTEL AND ITS ABOUT TIME IM GOING CRAZY COME OUT AND SAY HI TO US AND WE GOT iVINCE BACK CARTEL RULES BYE

i have the HIPV sweatshirt that says HIPV big on the front of it, and everyone makes fun of me for having aids cuz it says HI(P)V, but its neat though, i'm excited for the new joint

stop bitching on DTR, havent u people seen that they have official release dates for many bands and they are going to release on those dates. They have straighted out so shut up. For HIPV i really liked Life In Dreaming but something about it just didnt click so i hope they can write songs almost like the old s/t EP which i can listen to all the way through.
