About 40% of people who currently have the flu at the moment in Australia actually have Swine Flu. It's more dangerous than the normal flu but you should be fine.

well my doc said that he could write me a scipt for tammyflu (sp?) but no chemist would have it, and cos i dotn have any underlying health issues he just said to stay away from people, wear a face mask, take like headache tablets and such for my headahce and sore throat.

yeah i should get over it, just like any other flu. im hoping i'll be fine by monday. fingers crossed.

Just go to the doctors and complain about your cough hurting your chest really bad and it keeping you up at night. That's really how mine was and I was like holy crap when they gave it to me. I get respiratory infections all the time and I cough like this everytime I get sick but i've never gotten it wish I had this stuff everytime I got sick before this! Yea my dad prescribed me the tamiflu because the doctors down here are recommended to not give out flu medicine to people who've already had it for a few days. Have you gotten nauseau/thrown up? Because I haven't and that's why I didn't go to the doctor until Monday morning I woke up crying in agony :shudders: worst moment i've ever had in any illness!

Yea like when I went out which was only a few times. My bf told me I looked like a serial killer...the mask was way too big for my face and to be honest it made me feel worse like it made me feel hotter.

Luckily I have an extremely mild case of it. No fever, no vomitting. Still feel pretty shitty but probably not nearly as bad as you felt.
