I don't really understand how they are kinda a joke band? Yes "Jesse go to prom" is pretty lame, but the other 4 songs on the EP are actual songs (not to mention the zillion unreleased/demo songs)...

For sure. I could never listen to that cd straight through.
I don't understand how someone can call them their favorite band. They're not even in my top 100 favorite bands.

DTR tour? sweet! hgb, TEN, HIPV. and Halifax? i can only dream, but I could realistically see hgb and TEN being the big guns of the tour
either way, june needs to get here for that full length from these guys!

There's a handful of great DTR bands... Self Against City, The Mile After, Houston Calls, TEN, I Can Make A Mess, and RX Bandits are all very good. Unfortunately, the rest are pretty bad.

Another good drive-thru tour would be nice, though I'm not sure it'll happen.

I honestly do actually believe what Richard says, all the problems everyone blames him for have been beyond his control. Hes really a good guy and I cant wait till DTR makes its comeback!

In all honesty, I don't think drive thru will make a comeback and be as successful as it was three and a half years ago. They lost their allstar line up that helped define this genre. I just don't think that anything they've signed lately is going to help them get back to where they were.

those bands werent even on dtr when they got big. it was while mca/geffen controlled everythign they pretty much did. basically jsut by the new early novembr or hellogoodbye cd's going gold is bigger then dtr ever was by itself because there are no majors helpign them. just distro.

I just want a release date, a final, official, release date. If this full length misses the summer, then they should just wait until next summer.

if hgb is headlining the dtr tour i doubt TEN will be there too. i'm pretty sure they're headlining their own tour this fall
