How long do you all think this will last. Is widespread disorder an improvement over Saddam? I think it is a tough question to answer because of all the serious consequences that follow both choices. You'd really have to break it all down, and do research to come up with an educated answer.

the majority of the looting is against government buildings, and is relatively peaceful. the people are taking back what their govenment stole from them, and taking back what their governmnet bought with the money which was meant to feed them. there is very little looting of private citizens property, it is almost enitrely focused on the homes an offices of Baath party members and the palaces of saddam.
