I won't be going to NEARLY as many films this year (32 total was what I saw last year), but hopefully will be able to get two-three days in to see 6 or 7 films, and will post in-depth reviews of them here. Anyone else hoping to go? Here's the list of the first films announced, one's in bold I really want to see

Air Doll (Hirokazu Kore-eda)
Antichrist (Lars von Trier)
Backyard (Carlos Carrera)
The Be All and End All (Bruce Webb)
Bellamy (Claude Chabrol)
Chicago Overcoat (Brian Caunter)
Eve of the Storm (Eduardo Valente)
A Frozen Flower (Yoo Ha)
Hipsters (Valery Todorovsky)
The House of the Devil (Ti West)
Made in China (Judi Krant)
Motherhood (Katherine Dieckmann)
Police, Adjective (Corneliu Porumboiu)
Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire (Lee Daniels)
Red Cliff (John Woo)
Vincere (Marco Bellocchio)

If you feel like it, hit some of these up on IMDb and let me know what you think sounds interesting. Hoping to go the days of 10/19-10/23, interspersed between a Sunset Rubdown show and two Get Up Kids shows. Should be...tiring.

I am so damn jealous. Was Precious always the title of that film?

No, it was called Push at Sundance. But yes, that and Antichrist I feel like I MUST see. As long as they are playing when I'm there, I will.

Sandwiched in between Sunset Rubdown and two Get Up Kids shows. Should be an intense week. Then I have to stay at a hostel with 9 other people in my room because I can't afford more than $50/night, and the hostel's only $30.

Yeah, well it's my treat for not going on vacation in two years. Even if it is just a train ride to Chicago.

I've seen Antichrist and it's awful. Definitely a skip.

I think the first half or so would be in my top 5, if not top 3, of the year, and then it goes so off the rails its not even funny.
