Seriously, how many more movies are they going to ruin with remakes?

They're already ruining Alice in Wonderland, so why not this?

Why would they even want to remake this?

It's easier to remake good movies and make sequels than to come up with an original idea. Also, many people are suckers for it.

I have hope for Alice in Wonderland. The cast is super solid and Burton's a good director imo.
And is that Carlton Banks in your avatar?

Why yes it is.
Mad Hatter should be funny, not spooky.

I think this could turn out alright.
I think the Alice in Wonderland remake looks really impressive though...

Hah, well you sir are a winner.
Yes I see what you're saying, but maybe that's why it'll be good? Different direction instead of just a simple re do? I guess we'll all have to wait and see.

is it being "remastered" or totally "redone"....i feel as if the movie was more of a time piece than anything...and if it came out now, it would be silly

how in blue blazes would the remake ruin the original?
Exactly. It's not like they are erasing the original from existence and replacing it with the remake. If the remake sucks it just makes the original look better and if it is awesome people would still probably hate on it just because it's a remake. As long as the remake isn't a carbon copy then i'm fine with people giving their own versions of classics. I'd prefer something new but maybe these people just don't have any ideas for original films worth making.
