A new season of Project Runway starts tonight. anyone else watch it?
It's the first time the show is on Lifetime and the first time it will take place in L.A. It kicks off with an All Star Challenge (past designers compete: Jeffrey, Daniel, Uli, Santino, etc.) at 8 PM, followed by the actual show at 10 PM and a new thing at 11 PM called Models Of The Runway where they go behind the scenes with the models and they actually get to talk.

this is a real dilemma for me, i have never missed an episode of project runway but I CANNOT FUCKING STAND LIFETIME, and i especially cannot fucking stand the commercials they have for their 'i've been raped but now i am an empowered mother' movies.

Haha yeh, I'm not excited about that aspect of Lifetime at all. The only reason I like it being on Lifetime is because I don't get Bravo at school and hated having to watch all the episodes online for season 5 and I had art the enxt day and my teacher would always want to talk about it and I'd be like NO, DON'T TELL ME WHO WON AND LEFT. That was pretty annoying.
I'm so stoked for Santino being there, not gonna lie. We must know what happened to Tim and Andre past Red Lobster haha.

I'm so split on him, I like his designs (loved the hell out both his couture and paper dresses so much), but he can act so douchey sometimes.

Santino is always entertaining. I also like that Michael (I think thats his name, he was on Jeffery's season) is there. I really liked him.

I love Daniel and Uli. Jeffrey does look ridiculous, but I remember loving that green and white striped zipper dress he made during his collection. I still cannot stand Michael or Santino.

I''m glad this cast seems interesting, the girl in the printed jumpsuit seems a little crazy. weird they're giving immunity the first challenge. Also I knew they were going to focus on some crazy back story thing, and here we have it with the ex-addict. I bet he goes home early on.

This guy really suprised me, I love the dress he made. glad he won. Suprised they sent home the Sam Ronson look-a-like on the first show, funny with Lindsay being there. next episode looks good.

Alright, so not bad. Girl that was sent home made a hideous dress and had a horrible sense of style. I actually kind of liked that purple mess of a dress. I would never wear the one that won, but I could see why people would want to.

And this drug addict guy is annoying, I feel like every time he is stressed or in a design slump he'll pull the, 'I'm an addict' card. I don't feel bad for you kid, you did it to yourself. And the guy that won tonight, gay.. or not? My girlfriend and I couldn't tell. I'm pretty sure everyone else is.
And I'm annoyed this is on Lifetime now. It's gay enough that, as a straight guy, I watch this, but now to put it on Lifetime!? I shouldn't even be posting!

So I went to a premiere party for the show last night. A local magazine was sponsoring it since two of the contestants are from the Twin Cities (Christopher and Ra'mon). They both were there and Ra'mon showed a collection. It was very cool- especially since Christopher won the first challenge. I love this show. I was hoping they kept crazy soccer-ball-dress lady around for a while just to see what she does. I always root for the cray people.

my thoughts exactly when i heard santino was going to be there. he didn't disspoint! haha.
i'm so glad daniel won, he's my project runway favorite. i actually thought uli's collection was better though

Though I kinda want to root for Logan purely because he looks like a model. His dress was fugly however, and I guess I'll have to see what he'll pull.

My favorite will alwayssss be Daniel. I love his designs. Him and Uli, she's great. Awesome patterns and she is kind of hot. Not kind of, she is hot.
Dont like this show, but i did watch the season with that chris guy. I think thats his name. The fierce tranny mess dude.

So glad I wasted my time with this whole season just to see stupid Irina win. their model was to pick the model to wear the 13th look. Yet Irina's model wore the 13th look, yet nothing was said.
Irina also made a shit with reasons to love new york written on it. She took those reasons from a New York Magazine article. Waiting for her title to be revoked ugh. so annoyed.

Hey Project Runway fans! I hope I’m not the only one extremely excited for the new season coming up! I work with Lifetime actually, and am here to give you all the latest updates and chat about all the challenges, designers and episodes! I can’t wait to see Tim and Heidi get back into business. The season premiere is on July 29 at 9pm. Who else is excited to see them work together again?
