I was just told this is a great movie, but it doesn't look like my kind of movie.

Anyone here seen / recommend this?

highly recommended. It's my wife's favorite film. two other french films i would recommend: A very long engagement (same director as Amelie) and Jeux d'enfants (Love me if you dare).
