Make sure you check out tracks 9-12 from Hit the Lights (http://www.myspace.com/hitthelights)' new album (which comes out Tuesday!) on the band's AP.net profile (http://www.absolutepunk.net/hitthelights) - these songs will only be up for a couple more days.

such a good pop punk album...I know its gonna be blaring from my speakers all summer

"Like the way that your eyes travel to the floor when you tell a lie"

"What will it take to make you understand that I, I need you"

"While I'm losing my mind, I hope youre home finding sleep, but you and I both know that that's not the case because the look on your face gives all your secrets away"

im osrry but this band does absolutely nothing for me, along with pretty much everother poppunk band on the planet, but ive listened to every song and alot of their lyrics make me cringe, its pretty bad.

this band does not need this much recognition. I saw them open for piebald and they sounded like the same old crappy pop-punk. nothing original. and they try to dress it up with a guitarist with a fro. what a cheap gimmick. I am dead serious, I wrote a review of the show for my school's paper and that's what I said about them. and don't say "well then don't listen to them" because that is exactly what I am doing... I don't need ap.net to shove them down my throat.

you can't really hate on omar just because when he was at the hair factory colin and nick made him choose the fro over the angled emo whip. this decision was handed down to colin and nick from the pop-punk gods themselves so it was pretty much out of their control as well. plus i hear triple crown is making him grow it out even more because east/west invested in a study that proved that the amount of albums sold/fans gained was directly proportional to the inches his fro expands. SO, the fact that they use omar's hair as a "gimmick" was really not their decision. they'll tell you the same thing if you ask them yourselves.

love,
tony

ps. omar owns you

I wish that when I preordered albums they'd magically appear at my house the second after placing the order. Until that day comes (or until this tuesday...whichever comes sooner) I'll have the e-card and these 4 tracks on repeat

Anybody else like "These Backs are Made for Stabbing" better on their ep?

A local record store had one copy of it on Saturday, so I picked it up. Insanely catchy, I rocked it on my drive back to school Sunday night. Will prolly be my summer album.

Ok.

I will.

This band is a rehash of every successful pop punk band to this date. Except, it's a fuckin REHASH. Guys, DON'T SUPPORT BULLSHIT MUSIC LIKE THIS, for FUCK'S SAKE.

Fuck's sake, kids, don't make this your summer album. What about Head Automatica? What about even PUNCHLINE? Even Punchline's new CD is better than this.

What about me loving punk music? The point I was trying to maeke, is sure freedom of speech, forums are meant for comments, wonderful. But just let some shit go, yes you hate pop punk. Just stop bitching, i dont see the point, but to bring everyone down and spread your hate. But if thats your thing then spread it thick. Whatever.
