just the music.

but i would say it starts when the english guy gets burned.

from then on that movie is fucking awesome.

i think in lock stock and two smoking barrels the part where the one guy keeps getting shot and hit by cars but never dies is one of the funniest prolonged scenes ever.

Anyone ever seen the japanese movie "Battle Royale"?
Its also a Manga (But those are for Pussys). ITs so awesome. Great movie.
But the best scene is when this guy kills this girl by hittingg her to the ground then putting her bullhorn to her mouth and shotting her in the stomach.
And also This guy puts a Axe in his freinds head by accident and then the guys like:

the part on HOT SHOTS!

Topper Harley (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000221/): Mrs. Thompson, I know you must hate me right now but there's something I want you to have. I've been putting a little away for the past ten years. It's not much. 2500. I wish I could do more.
Mrs. Mary 'Dead Meat' Thompson (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0842056/): Why, Topper. That's so sweet. Why, with the three million that I won on this Lucky Lotto ticket, I can take this 2500 and just blow it all on hats.

i laughed for a half hour strait.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Don't know if these are my absolute favourites but they are some I can think of right now...

The Royal Tenenbaums...When Margot gets off the bus and These Days by Nico is playing. Absolutely perfect.

Russkies... Mischa and the boy's day out montage. Specifically the dancing on the bridge. Also when Leaf absails out of his bedroom window.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off... The art gallery scene.

Everyone Says I Love You... chiquita banana

Roustabout.. Poison Ivy League and fighting with the jocks

Harold & Maude... glorious birds

Mean Creek... every single frame in the entire film.

Come on people! The Godfather, when Michael kills Sollozo and the Captain.

# 2: Taxi Driver when Robert DeNiro says "You talking to me...?"
Actually, my favorite part of the Godfather is the final sequence of deaths...though my favorite of the trilogy is him just sitting ther after having Fredo killed.

And yes, that is a great scene in Taxi Driver...I also like the final death/shootout sequence

In no order.
The opening scene from Pulp Fiction, when Jules and Vincent discuss the similarities and differences of giving a woman a foot massage and eating a woman out.
Pretty much all of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but more specifically, Joel and Clementines first meeting in Montauk, towards the end of the film, and a scene where Joel and Clementine are under the covers and Clementine tells Joel a story from her child hood.
Several scenes from Garden State come to mind, but most specifically, the entire party sequence in the first act, when they do X and shit. Good scene. That and the hunt for his mother's necklace.
The Door in the Floor: the reading of the story, the telling of the story of the Cole sons' death, when Marion leaves Ted, when Ted has to run from his crazy mistress.
In Requiem for a Dream, when Harry talks to his mother about being on uppers, and when Harry and Marion talk while naked, very cool split screen cutting for that scene. Jennifer Connelly is hot.
The death of Fredo and Michael's subsequent guilt in The Godfather, Part II.
Don Corleone telling Michael that he never wanted his son to be involved in a criminal empire, Godfather, Part I.
The Royal Tennenbaums; pretty much the whole movie. The suicide attempt scene is absolutely brilliant.
The 'Not if you've ever fucked before' scene in Rushmore.
The scene between Pachino and Jamie Foxx in Any Given Sunday when Foxx goes over to Pachino's for dinner.
The scene in The Assasination of Richard Nixon when Sean Penn is trying to convince the leader of the Black Panthers to change to the Zebras, so membership will double.
There are several really good scenes in The Rules of Attraction. Just watch the whole movie. Be warned, some fucked up shit goes down.
When William meets Lester Bangs, and when Russell is on acid, Almost Famous.
There's a really funny scene about a reporter who wrote an article about how to give good head in Love&Sex.
That's all I can think of for now, but I'm sure I'll come up with more, even though I've already given a lot.

Yeah. Great scene. I think when he realizes that he betrayed him is also a good scene.

I also forgot one of my other favorite scenes from Pulp Fiction. The Bonnie Situation. Classic.

Not one of my favorite movies, but one of my favorite scenes in a movie is the fight scene in A Clockwork Orange. Good stuff.

I'm watching it right now, so I felt the need to post it.

By the way, the video of the church's exterior at the end was filmed at Mt. Loretto on Staten Island. I've been there a few times.

Pretty much any island scene in Cast Away.

And the whole Lloyd-convincing-Harry-to-go-to-Aspen scene.
