Hahaha, I never heard that. That's so ridiculous. The band always plays their songs faster live then on the album, so for him to lip sync they would have to go re-record all of the vocal tracks at a faster tempo strictly for their live show.

Most people are just used to hearing vocalists out of key live (Adam from TBS, Geoff from Thursday, etc.). It's as if they've forgotten that singers are actually supposed to hit the correct notes live.

I thought that was the debate over whether he recorded that over prerecorded vocals because he was sick when they filmed that and he couldnt sing. But eh whatever. Wills brilliant vocally live or recorded. And that song is increadibly powerful live. Seriously mindblowing if you experience it live.

to be honest, as good as they are, and as much as i love them, i think this video clearly shows they still have so much unlocked potential, especially with a kid with pipes like that.

cartel is fantastic. this video is sick. and as much as i like the version on the album, it sounds very different acoustic...and better.

I am the one who taped this. Will has one of, if not THE best live voice I have ever seen for a band like Cartel. He was nearly flawless. I've also seen them live 3 other times, and this has always been the case. They are one of my favorites not only for their talent, but they're also really nice guys. They can do no wrong in my eyes.

I saw him play that at the northstar bar in philly in December. It was funny he stopped in the middle of that song because he forgot the words. Def. a rare unique moment. Shows even the best are human.

Just further confirmation that major labels sign bands with great vocalists only (see Acceptance, Eisley, Vedera?)... So, for all you indie bands out there with you huge local following, left-sleeve of tats and ugly fat bass player, too bad, so sad if you ain't got the pipes up front.
