The reason I love the Jack's Mannequin CD is because it reminds me of Leaving Through The Window. I wasn't a huge fan of North but love everything previous to that album so.. I am going to go with SoCo. Plus, they have Konstantine and Globes And Maps.. what more could you need?

this is hard. everything in transit as an album defines andrew mcmahon. jack's has been his outlet for recent events and we've all seen the most of him from this perspective. i went with something corporate because his most defining moments in soco, even tho not as often, are quite strong. there are also other members of something corporate who write and record great music for that band.

i would continue, comparing blink/boxcar/angels & airwaves, but i've done enough analysis, and the college semester is almost over.

That's pretty tough, but SoCo has always been one of my favorite bands.

everything in transit is so much better than leaving through the window and north that its not even comparable. although, for how young andrew was, his songwriting on the soco albums is pretty stellar (not that hes old now, but hes matured a lot as a songwriter over the past 4 years)

damn thats a good question. and after thinking about it for 5 minutes, I decided that SoCo is who I would want to stay...JM seems like a side project, and even though JM put out an amazing album, SoCo put out songs like "If You C Jordan" and "Cavanaugh Park." "The Mixed Tape" was really JM's only pop/punk song.

Is something corporate ever going to come out with a new cd? Because it kind of just seems like Andrew is just touring with Jack's Mannequin for a while, and although I love Jack's, I'd really rather see Something Corporate tour and working on some new material.

This is really hard. I never thought I'd like JM more than SoCo but the JM CD grew on me so fast. I really love it. Konstantine is one of my favorites, but I prefer most of JM's material over a lot of SoCo's, so I went with them.
