So I did do a search but nothing really came up. So I thought maybe this could be the official car discussion thread.

I currently have an 01 Chevy Camaro convertible in white. However I'm looking to trade her in 'cause she's starting to have some problems.....like the transmission falling out yesterday...

So I'm looking for something kinda sporty yet still practical...more practical than a convertible in the winters up here.
Any ideas?

I drive a car that has been to hell and back and I'm perfectly fine with that. I'd rather drive a car that's reliable and beat up then a shiny new car that most likely will fall apart within three years because the standards for quality in the American auto industry has diminished significantly over the last 10 years.

2) If you are buying go through the fleet manager or you will get ripped off.
3) Mazda and Honda are your best bets, but Honda you will pay more for less features.
4) Check out the mpg fuel economy - so much more important than looks.

It took me a year but I finally decided on a Mazda 3 is a 2008.5 and I love it. Top selling car of 08/09. It comes with all the features,(automatic, power windows, cd player etc ) so cute, good on gas and looks nice. It's brand new I got it for 21000 cdn incld tax/freight etc. Anyways I know I'm a girl but I know a lot more about buying a car than you think.

My mom died and left me and my brother quite a large sum of money each a few months ago. i looked at a challenger, and a camaro, i got the mustang cause i liked the interior the best, and it was the best value haha.

That's a lot of gallons for a car that size. Also I can fit like 8 dead bodies in my car and more if if i organize them,sorta like tetris. Just throwing that out there. lol , Also Toyota's are a good choice also.

The weather is severely bipolar. I don't think ive ever actually been to Disney....I've been to Magic kingdom for grad night in 06 and I've been to islands of adventure of a few times. I'll probably pick up a year pass for the parks when I move. lol

Honestly I'm really glad I got a Mazda. My friend has an 07 honda civic and she paid so much more then me for far less features.
I don't like the look of the new mazda 3's though, the body just looks funny.

Yeah Honda's are real good cars. My dad had an 03 Civic and an 06 Accord before he switched to an 08 Camry. and my girlfriend has an 09 Civic SI, and her mom and dad have an 09 Ridgeline and 06 Accord. They swear by Hondas I guess.

By the way, I don't have any pictures yet, but I decided on an '86 Chevy Corvette to replace my Camaro. I know it's sort of impractical, but a buddy of mine was selling it for 4,000 bucks so I went for it. I'm really enjoying it so far.

Shut off at an intersection. Might be a bad battery (even though i just changed it) , might be a bad alternator , or might just be a blown fuse.

Get a Nissan 300ZX

If your looking for a similar car try the Pontiac gto 04-07. Very fast 350--400hp, depending on the model year. Pretty cheap and can now buy for just above 10k, with 20,000 miles. Last you 10 years and little to no problems. Also great highway gas mileage at around 30mpg, fuck that corolla.
