...is awesome. This is the same scene that brings us Menomena, Starf*cker, Blitzen Trapper and Portugal. The Man. Discuss.

Yeah I should've made the thread title "The Pacific Northwest" scene. So many good bands from that corner of the US.

Well Portland still has it's fair share, so we're all good.

Dude, for sure.
Just because of Built To Spill, potatos and some cool mountains though. Other than that Idaho is not even close to being as cool as the Washington-Oregon duo.

Yeah! So Idaho is a part of the Pacific Northwest. Should we count BC?

I only think that the Panhandle and a strip of land down to Boise in Idaho should be considered a part of the Pacific Northwest. Yeah BC should count too. Not only is it a great place, but it does seem extremely similar to Washington.

It is, although Canada smells different, i'm not lying.

haha when I was there 2 years ago, I don't remember it smelling any differently. The food was mostly bad and everything was bigger but it didn't smell differently. Maybe that is a Vancouver thing?

Forget Washington. I hate when tours like 10 for $10 go to Seattle then go AROUND Oregon to Cali then to go East.
