I am totally for pro-choice for women but I personally would never get an abortion if I ever had an unwanted pregnancy. Is it possible to support both because even if i would never get an abotion,I still support having the right to choose whether or not I want one? I want everyone's opinions about this whether you are a guy or girl. I think it's a crucial topic in women's rights even though the current economic and healthcare crises are overshadowing human rights issues.

The right of a woman to do whatever she pleases with her body should never, ever be infringed.

I really hate the term "pro-life". It's so obvious it was coined by someone with no intrest in adressing the issue objectivly and only serves to muddle an already emotionaly charged debate. All I'm going to say on the issue is this: My mother is sexual assult and eating disorer specialist at a women's clinic that also provides women with the information and resourses they need to recieve safe abortions. She's recieved death threats both at home and at work just for working at said clinic and she has nothing to do with their abortion services. I've never heard of anybody in the anti-choice camp having their life threatend just for going to work.

Anyone who describes themselves as "pro-life" as a means to say that they don't support abortion should be scalped.

Seriously, though - fuck you.

i say if the baby is alive (heart beating) it's pretty fucked up to kill it. but people will do whatever is best for themselves.

I propose abortion as always being the assumed course of action, and a person must first argue on why they should be allowed to bring a new life into this world, and only after doing that successfully are they granted the right to continue the pregnancy.

I <3 abortion.
Side Note: Saw the best, "pro choice" sticker yesterday.
It read,
"Pro-Choice: babies are fucking ugly anyways." :-d

Pro-choice, all the way.
However, if it were my child, I'd want it to be born.
But the decision rests with the mother, and should be looked at on a case-to-case basis

So long as the fetus still looks more like a shrimp than a baby, it's fair game. Once the fetus is a baby...have an adoption.

Personal life is personal, the government should not and cannot be able to invade that.

I don't think we need another thread on abortion. However, i will add that I am pro-choice.
