Since we can discuss "classic" rock in here, I'm making a mix cd of a bunch of old love songs. I only want them from the 60's and 70's. Help a brother out. Also, I know there's a mixtape forum, blow me.

I want classic "LOVE" songs. Thank you.

I like the Joe Cocker song - with a little help from my friends (wonder years theme)

Bread - IF.. (if a picture paints a thousand words, then why can't I paint you?)...

When a man loves a woman - Percy Sledge.

I don't know.. there's lots.

Nice. I know you know a ton of Classic, so list some more. And I guess it doesn't have to be "rock" and it can be blues, rnb, and pop, I suppose.

So far I have:

The Beatles - I Want to Hold Your Hand
Simon and Garfunkel - For Emily, Whenever I May Find Her
Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight
Marvin Gaye - Let's Get It On
The Beach Boys - Woulnd't It Be Nice
Ray Charles - You Are So Beautiful
The Carpenters - Close To You
Jackson 5 - ABC
Al Green - Lean on Me

I guess their not all from the 60's or 70's, but that's the general range.
