I would not be surprised if this is the best pop-punk of the year.

It's really good, but it's too early to tell. If New Found Glory comes out with a new album, it might be better.

It is too early to tell, but it is a solid pop punk album by anyones standards. I love Caller 10, it's such a catchy song.

yeah...I get the feeling the fall is going to be dominated with pop-punk...it's about a year and a half after a lot of the spring releases of 2005 (TAI, etc)

I used to be the BIGGEST NFG fan. But I was largely dissapointed in Catalyst. I hope they go back to their Self-Titled roots for this next album.

I got Punchline today and I love it. Each song is just so catchy its impossible to not want to sing along.
I have to say thanks to Drew as it was his review that made me take out some extra money to get it, along with STD, HTL, and Moneen.

37 everywhere is a great CD. Really solid, like you said drew, HTL was the best of the year thus far until Punchline came out.
Punchline is just a little more mature than HTL, although HTL I think is more easily accessible for the masses. Punchline put out a more musically intelligent record.
But yes, I wait with anticipation to hear the new NFG, I have a feeling that it will be glorious as I have really enjoyed both of the most recent releases (Sticks and Stones, Catalyst).

no matter what NFG comes out with, Im gonna hate it the first listen, and then its gonna be instantly awesome the second time around, thats how its always been with me and NFG haha
oh and I love the punchline so far after maybe 4 listens, still not tired of it yet

I think this can be easily overtopped. Punchline being a hometown band, used to put on a decent show. But I've grown up and over their sound.

Caller 10 is one of the best pop punk songs I've ever heard.
I've played this album non-stop since it came out.
I had never even been a punchline fan but I'm thinking this will make my top 10 of 2006. Love it.
