Well, I dunno how many of you on here are Van Halen fans but they're my favorite band. Just wanted to know who you prefer?
I'm more of a DLR guy.

Roth by far. Gary was a joke. They only made ballads with Sammy Hagar and most of them sucked. Roth was the party guy and they made fun party music. You can't go wrong with that. So many good Van Halen tunes.

Yeah I put Gary on there just in case, I doubt anyone is going to vote for him.

david lee roth definetly wins, however my favorite radio station used to be run by howard stern and it played rock music, but howard left and now its a talk show station except for the weekends and hes one of the hosts. hes not a very good radio personality

I like Sammy Hagar most out of the three, but I think they were much more of a better band in the days of David Lee Roth. After he left, their music matured a lot more, not that - that is a bad thing.

No contest, David Lee Roth. Even though now he's a hack.

David Lee Roth gets my vote, although I have to admit with Hagar they did make some good songs and Cherone really should of stayed with Extreme as he is great in that band.
my friend listens to van halen, and was trying to rag on me for listening to fall of troy and saying that they are homosexuals, then i played the beginning of dreams, that shut him the fuck up

DLR, no question in my mind.

DLR. He was the heart of that band. I agree with most people that Hagar did make some good songs with them, but it was nothing compared to David Lee Roth.
Cherone only made one good song with them... "Humans Being" or whatever it was from Twister. I loved that song.

It wasn't Cherone who sang "Humans Being" it was Hagar who sang it and it was his last song with the band.
