I can't choose because my heart says the Red Sox, yet my brain says the Yankees :-/

As much cash as the Yankees spend I don't think they've had a "legit" shot at the title in a few years. This year is lookin' different and I'm diggin it.

The Yankees should easily be the favorite in all of baseball to win it all. That said, I think the only team in the AL who could give them a run for their money is the Angels. The Yankees have struggled against them in the post-season lately and they are the only team that I can see beating these Yankees.

Again, it's the Yankees.

I second that. The Yankees have everything possibly necessary for a World Series championship.

The playoffs are never easy, no matter how good you are. Althouh an exception could be made for the 1998-2000 Yankees, who were 33-8 in the playoffs in those 3 years (98: 11-2, 99: 11-1, 00: 11-5).

The Angels have a great hitting lineup, but not neccesarily the pitchers the Yankees have. I think it will come down to the Angels and Yankees, with the Yankees taking it in 6.

I said easy in jest as I'm a Sox fan. If they make it, I would consider their chances just as good as anyone elses' if not better than most.

As things stand now; I would say

1. Yanks.
2. Phils
3. Sox

for a WS win, but I'd consider it to be missing the point to place too much consideration into current play.

I would love to say my tigers due to our filthy pitching staff but our bats just won't hold up against some of the better teams. I wouldn't be surprised if we pull off at least one upset though.

I voted yanks.

Rangers. They're pwning both Boston and LA in head to head play.

It saddens me to see the Yankees playing this well. IT'S OUR TURN GOD DAMMIT!

Tha Yankees. Thaaaaaaa Yankees. So yeah the Yankees. Hopefully. Now that they have stout pitching I think they have the best chance in the past 5 or 6 years.

Spot on. I hate whenever the yankees have a series with the Angels cause there's a good chance they'll stumble. I really think it'll be the yanks or angels representing the AL this year.

remember back in the late 90's when the rangers played the yankees in the division playoffs every year and lost every year? Back when they had Dean Palmer, Juan Gonzalez, and Rafael Palmeiro? Man their offense was sick. Fond memories for me, not so fond for you I presume

<-------- It's been too long, come on Yanks! This year feels really good. They're making me too excited though. Playoffs are gonna be very tough.
