I would go, but I think tickets will be too expensive just to go, see JM play for 45 minutes, and then leave.
But I don't know yet.

I think they're $35? I'm not positive, but I'm staying the whole show.

Of A Revolution. Great band, but unfortunately a few people with "prestige" here hate them, so therefore everyone else says they hate them too.

I'll probably go for JM since I've never seen them live. But I need to get paid first before I can buy a ticket. I spent most of my money on smaller shows. About 4 of those add up to one of these tickets, so once I get some cash, I'll buy a ticket (I hope my date doesn't sell out).

i'll leave after jm.
only because my friend needs a ride and is gonna get my ticket for me
I for one, am not sure exactly what I'll do.
OAR has played my college before, as our fall concert. While I do enjoy some of their music, I felt they were incredibly boring live. Not to mention the fact if you go to this concert, you'll have to deal with a bunch of meathead frat guys who have no concert ettiquette whatsoever. Prepare yourself for the ridicule you'll get for actually liking Jack's Mannequin and the words "that guy is such a ***" coming from all of them who are there solely for OAR. That would be a reason why I wouldn't want to spend $35 for that show, but on the other hand I truly enjoy Jack's Mannequin, and have gotten shit for my music tastes since middle school, so why would I start caring about what people think now? The only problem I have with this is the cost, 35 dollars is a very steep price. 35 dollars can get me food for a week or two, and until I start making more money, a fun time that would be seeing Jack's Mannequin is going to have to come 2nd.
PS - I'm in a fraternity myself, not all fraternity guys are like that, but unfortunately the overwhelming majority of them are.

I really like O.A.R., but however.I can not stand them live. they seem to make every song 94 minutes long. thats why when they come around im leaving right after jacks plays.

Agree... 100%. That is the only reason why it would be better if O.A.R. played first; so you could be high for their show and enjoy some Jack's after coming down.
Unfortunately if you look at my location you will notice why I won't be attending this show and have attended very few shows in my life.

i saw jack's play last month and it only cost me $14, so there's no way i'm paying $35 to see them open for a band i don't even listen to.
in other news, i was at wal-mart last night and they were playing the mix tape video on the tv screens all over the store. i can handle jack's mannequin being popular, but playing the video on loop at wal-mart? that's a little more than i can take.
stay for the entire show of course, both awesome bands, specially live.

Just go and have a good time, stay for both bands.
I think it's rude to walk out on a band. They work hard to make what you consider bad music, and yeah I've been to shows where I wasn't too interested in some of the bands but I stayed and in some cases it wasn't so bad.
Everyone's so quick to assume what kind of crowd's going to be there and blah blah blah wah wah wah. You paid to get in and you know who's playing and that's it.
Don't knock it until you've tried it. And even then it's just one person's opinion.
Have fun reguardless.

OAR have a handleful of really good singles. I don't mind them. If I was already at one of their shows I'd stay for all of it.

This tour isn't coming to Milwaukee.. but if it was, I'll say I would probably leave after JM, but it also depends on my mood. JM are coming to Milwaukee along this summer to play Summerfest. It's a win/win situation.

I second what that dude said about O.A.R. The typical O.A.R. fan is your quintessential frat boy. They are what is considered "college rock". I was at a party once and one of the dudes had an acoustic guitar laying around so I picked it up and started playing. Then all these douche cakes asked me to play some O.A.R. I was like, "Who the fuck is O.A.R.?" And this chick looked at me like I was crazy. Judging from the fans I saw at the party, I had a pretty good idea of what they would sound like. But I checked out their music anyway and I wasn't surprised one bit at what I heard. Not a fan.
