I agree with your top 3, Black Mamba at the top for me though...

the only thing I hate is their name, and how it becomes immediately The Academy Is...(topic).

It got old in news posts quickly

I agree with you. And Black Mamba is easily my favorite song from them.

Nobody else seems to like it, which pisses me off.

No I haven't heard the EP, I heard a few songs off of Almost Here...d/l'd it, and they basically just started to annoy me. I liked them less and less everytime I head them.

Probably because it's not your favorite genre of music. Its really difficult for me to listen to most hardcore.
