hey all.
looking to start a band. here are a few keypoints:
x: please don't be interested in starting the next saves the day.
x: please have your own equipment.
x: please have at least three years experience in your instrument.
x: please be open to new ideas.
x: please don't be addicted to anything.
x: please be serious, committed etc.
x: please have some ideas to bring to the table!
hm, other than that, here are my thoughts. i'm interested in starting something that matters. my tastes widely vary (appleseed cast, planes mistaken for stars, idlewild, sunny day real estate, etc...) i honestly think that a lot of the bands coming out now sound like the same drive-thru band just being churned out over and over. it's getting a little old. i think there is something out there besides sounding exactly like whoever is popular now.
i live in massachusetts. i go to umass amherst. i want to start a band. i sing. if you are interested, please get in touch with me via email or AIM. do not reply to this, because chances are, i am posting this once and never looking at it again.
