I have mixed feelings about this album. My views on politics are pretty much polar oposites with Fat Mikes, but that has no bearing on my enjoyment of his music. I can have an open mind about it. I love fast, catchy punk music, so that's never been a problem. However, when I listened to the recent e.p., I was a little taken back. I have no problem with someone stating their opinions on a subject in a respectful way, but I felt that Mike was attacking a subject I that is very important to me (religion) in not only an unintelligent way, but also a very disrespectful way. I know this happens all the time with tons of other bands, but I was just hoping for something different. I'll still check out the album (I loved War on Errorism), but since the e.p. came out, it's gone from a definite buy to a "maybe after I hear it first"

I can't wait to get this. The ep was just total fucking rock and roll, and i bet this album will deliver.

10/10.....im fucking sure. haha. there are only a handful of 10/10's ever in my opinion. people hand out "amazing", "10/10's", "fucking the best cd ever", "masterpiece" like fucking candy these days.

i just don't think its that cool to make fun of any ones religion.
i mean sure jew jokes are funny and south park is hilarious but like i feel like it creats more disrespect than respect for a band when they make fun of a religion. I'm not just saying this cause i'm a christian. I mean i would lose respect for the greatest band if they made fun of jews or budhists or hindus or any religion. I'm not going to go protest or anything. Heck im gonna eait to hear Wolves till it comes out. I'm going to buy it because it probly has some really rocking songs on it but I would have a better outlook on NOfx if they hadn't said those things and presented those images. I mean its weird that Never Trust A Hippy's entire focus is "down with religion" and that the album art is a (funny i might add) but tasteless picture of jesus, but when they're first video for the album is the entire band is preist outfits and jesus parting the crowd, smoking, drinking, turning water into wine it just sort of gets old. I dunno. whatever the album will sound good!

most of the songs on this record were a part of the 7" of the month collection.

so ive heard most of them already.

thats my reason for disappointment.

but oh well, otherwise its fairly solid.

I picked up "Wolves in Wolves Clothing" the other day. So far I am not too impressed with this album. For an album that was hyped up to be a great fast paced punk album with 18 songs clocking in at under 30 minutes, this is simply a very disappointing cd.

Most of the songs on this album are less than two minutes, which should be a good thing. However, the songs seem longer than they really are, because most of them are either horrible or they break up the flow of the album. The only time this album really flows is during tracks 6-9, which includes the best song on the album, "The Man I Killed." The rest of this album is just all over the place soundwise, and "Cantado en Esapnol" and "Instand Crassic" finally just kill the album for me. NoFx can do much better than this album.

This is merely a Nofx album, nothing more nothing less. Some really good songs, some filler. "The Man I Killed" and "60%" are phenomenal

I have a similar opion. I do expect some moreof the songs to grow on me after more listens but for now I give the album 6/10.

i think that if they took off a few of the shittier songs and put on the better songs that they had on the seven inches and EP, they could've made a helluva record. i still like it a lot, but it could've been better.

I'll agree with you that Benny Got Blowed Up should have been left off, but I enjoyed every other song on the album.
