So it was rather late, and my TV was on, either VH1, or MTV/MTV2. I was half asleep when a song came on, one of those "preview this artist". I swear I wrote the name down right but I cant seem to find the band ANYWHERE, it was almost like a emo/screamo sound with a female singer/screamer.
I could of sworn the band was callled "Picture Me Perfect"
But I cant FIND information about this band with a female singer.
I know this is a shot in the dark, but anyone happen to know or see it themself?

If your talking about In This Moment, then you wasted some good paper to write that name down.

Walls of Jericho has a woman screaming. Probably not what you're looking for, but they're always worth a mention.

This band is so sick... Paramore with breakdowns and screaming? That's a perfect formula for awesomeness.

Only great bands with harsh female vocals that come to mind are:
(new) Agoraphobic Nosebleed
Punch
The rest range from half decent to horrible.

Bloodlined Calligraphy is a pretty good female lead metal band.

screamo is dead..I hate people that use this world for every single fucking band that has a vocalist and a screamer.
If you want a band that is going to be close to screamo go listen to pg 99

Last I heard they got a new front girl, but they aren't nearly as good as they were. They have a few jams though.
Bloodlined Calligraphy is a pretty good female lead metal band.
I thought that at one point, but actually they're pretty terrible. The only decent female lead metal band I do listen to is probably Light This City. Basically a less crappy version of Black Dahlia Murder. Still nothing amazing, and they have broken up anyway, haha.

From Picture Me Broken's myspace:
"Picture Me Broken emerged in 2005 under the name "Lane Four" playing classic rock covers as 12 year olds. After entering the "KFOX Last Band Standing" live radio competition and placing second, they decided to get serious about the band and eventually went on to win another competition through KFOX that earned them a spot opening for the Doobie Brothers at Shoreline Ampitheatre. This success was the end of their career as a cover band as they began searching for their sound as an original band. Picture Me Broken was truly born when the band landed a spot on a date of Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution Tour with their songs "Blind and "Live Forever." PMB defines their sound as melodic hard rock with elements of screamo and post hardcore, merging Paramore with BlessTheFall. PMB is all about live energy, catchy choruses, and intense breakdowns ready to take over the music scene at 16 years old!"

I listened to the first song on the list, "Dearest" or something... and somewhere midway through the shitty song... they add the most pointless keyboard part... I don't understand, not much of a fan really... kinda generic, a girl singer does not make you original.

I'm a fan of Flyleaf, most of the bands mentioned in this thread -- not so much. Especially this Picture Me Broken... yikes.
