The 3rd of their 11-date Wave Goodbye tour. Crowd was ROUGH as I have bruises on me and a broken toe. Sucks that I'll most likely have to hang in the back of the floor. Setlist below:

Discipline
March Of The Pigs
The Line Begins To Blur
I'm Afraid Of America [David Bowie cover]
Ruiner
The Big Come Down
Burn
Gave Up
La Mer
The Fragile
Non-Entity
Eraser
The Way Out Is Through
1,000,000

Survivalism
Reptile [w/Peter Murphy of Bauhaus]

The Hand That Feeds
Head Like A Hole
--------encore-------
The Frail

The Day The World Went Away
Dead Souls [w/Peter Murphy]

Amazing, amazing show. Can't wait to see what they have in store for tonight (and also can't wait to NOT get my foot stomped in)

I heard the crowd was rough last night. I also heard they were filming, can you confirm this? I'm on the bus right now heading down to NYC and I'm beyond psyched for the show tonight. Last east coast show, I'm hoping for something extremely epic!!

Not the best NIN set I've seen, but still pretty damn good. You're lucky to hear "I'm Afraid Of Americans", "The Wretched", "La Mer", and "The Beginning Of The End".

Hmmm, not sure if they were filming though I saw a few random people in the midst of the pit with cameras (as in, actual cameras not via cell phones). They might have been professionally filming from elsewhere though.

Yeah, crowd was rough. My toe is broken I think which bums me out as I'll have to hang towards the back of the floor. Nonetheless, was an amazing setlist.

One interesting note from last night is that Peter Murphy fucked up part of "Reptile" when homebody had the lyrics TAPED ON THE FUCKING STAGE for him. Ugh...

Haha that's hilarious about Murphy. He came out and did "Reptile" last November in Worcester, MA with Trent too. I've never seen T5 before so I'm psyched for tonight. I too should be hanging in the back (unless they have a bag check at the venue), so if you see a dude with a Bad Brains shirt and a Red Sox hat, make sure to say hey. I'll be the one with my face melted.

For a brief moment, I thought the guy hanging upside down was Bowie. Still a great show. My only complaint was that I couldn't jump around in the front since my toe is either broken or just really fucked up. Loved the opening (was so intense). Can't believe they played "Last"...

Hey sorry I didn't see you man. I was back right in front of the soundboard. That venue sucks for sightlines but the show was great.

Nice setlists! "The Perfect Drug" would've been a nice addition too. Not that I think it's even close to their best song, but considering how big "Closer" was, it's odd to see it omitted from the setlists of the final shows so far.

Edit: I just saw another setlist that had it on there, nevermind.

The Perfect Drug has never been played live to date, there is no way you saw it on another setlist.

I'm STILL bruised up from night 1, nearly a week later.

Both Chicago shows saw an incredible setlist as well.

If those are your favorites, then you really need to listen to their entire body of work.

I went to 3 out of 4 of the Wave Goodbye L.A. dates - 9/2 @ Hollywood Palladium, 9/8 @ Henry Fonda Theater, & the final show on 9/10 @ The Wiltern. One word: EPIC

Out of the 3 shows, I thought the Palladium show was best cause they played all of Downward Spiral! It ended abruptly due to Trent's sickness, but it was short, sweet and fulfilling.

It's amazing that I was able to get tickets to any of these especially since they were uber small venues. Good times! He's probably done with touring, but I'm hoping he'll play some secret shows in the future.
