I wouldnt say that emo and post-rock arent closely related genres.
But anyways some good post-rock bands (you might have heard of some before)...
Mono
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Explosions In The Sky
Rachel's

Well, the particular bands I listes found someway to fuse the two genres together. And they do it quite well. And yes, I've already listened to those bands. Thanks though. Any other suggestions?

Thanks but all of the reccomendations thus far has been post rock and sludge. Anything that actually derives from emo?

Check out Neil On Impression. Great post rock from some of the dudes in Raein who you obviously enjoy. Recent Envy stuff has a pretty strong post rock influence, so check that out. City of Caterpillar as well, although you probably already listen to the latter two bands. Also what is some good stuff by Sed Non Satiata? I keep meaning to listen to them.

The Fire Theft has the dudes from Sunny Day Real Estate in them, they're like the West Coast fathers of emo.
