I've never heard it anywhere else, but it's very dramatically and overly produced and just sorta put me off a bit. Out of left field really. Anyone else run into it before and/or know where it is from? Pandora claimed it was from Chroma, but that's not right at all.

I think that's the version I've always had. I remember my buddies showing me one they found online that was more stripped down and Pugh sounded a bit...oh, I don't know, shitty, but this is the one I've always been listening to. I always thought this was the legit version and the other one was a demo.

when they re-released the album without the slip cover, it had this version of save us on it. the original had the electric version of the song on it.

Well searching on youtube, I found a third version that was more stripped down, and a bit different lyrics.

I didn't know how to play/hear the song on the pandora site. Lame me, yes.

I actually always had the stripped down version then, I think I prefer that.

This is the version I listened to for years (from about 2005 on) until I heard about a remastered Chroma CD last year. I actually prefer this to any of the other two.
