Okay so I my current job ends on September 30th and I don't start University again till February (have to repeat a module) I have worked all summer and will have saved about £3,000 ($5,000). What should I do?
Kinda bored from working and would kind of think if I got another job till start of uni would have been a bit of a waste of time, thinking about travelling or volunteer work in USA or Canada but would need to leave in October and a bit late to try and organise visas etc... Could go round Europe for cheap but don't speak any other language and will be alone as all friends back at Uni.
I don't wanna go back to Uni after Christmas and think I just wasted 6 months working and playing x-box.
So tell em what have you done? What would you do? Have you travelled alone? Done any Volunteer shit?
Red Bull Gives You Wings.
I'll be traveling alone at the end of December in Switzerland, France, and Belgium for about a month. I know only a little German and French(although I'm taking French Classes and being tutored every week) and I'm not THAT worried about the language barrier.
But, as for volunteering, do you even need a visa? I don't believe so. How long did you plan on volunteering in Canada if you chose that option?

Buy as many cases of beer as you can, crank up the thrash metal and have a wild party that lasts for days. In all seriousness however, if you can't think of something, just get another job to occupy your time.

Round trip tickets require you put your manhood along with someone else's entire family down just as a deposit.
