...is making me annoyed. Fans just voted in Vince Young at #4, and Mario Williams is still on the board at #6. He's probably the #2 pick! I dont understand why people havent caught on to this guy.

I know. People are damn retarded.

Don't be suprised if the Saints trade their pick though. I think they'll take Leinart and trade him to (my guess) the Jets. Then the Saints will take Mario Williams with the Jets pick. Who knows what else they'll get in return. I'm guessing the Jets later pick or something.

That's just my hunch. Anything can happen come draft time.

the pick of Leinart and then trade is something I didnt think of ...I think a trade down to #4 is possible because they could still take Ferguson or Williams (or choose between both of Young goes #3), but I didn't think they'd select Leinart first. I guess it's still the same thing, just two different ways of doing it.

me too, because I dont want him going to the Jets and playing the Pats twice a year. I think he'll end up being the best pro of this draft.

Don't worry. The Jets never take the best available player.

my reason is that so the Titans could get Leinart or D'Brick...i don't even want them to think about taking Vince Young

For a second I thought you said Marino. Then I read it again.

a Marino/Brees combo would be pretty good

pennington is horrible if they dont take a qb there idiots

I think they can go another year without drafting a QB. Ramsey or Pennington will suit for a year.

If they switch to a 3-4, drafting Hawk would give Vilma and Hawk up the middle. Let that sink in for a moment.

If they draft Williams, they'll have Ellis and Williams at DE.

Ferguson would shore up a mess of an o-line.

I'd take any of those three before a QB, and then take Williams or whatever top RB is left with the later 1st round pick.

I agree ....Jets are far better off avoiding a QB. I think they just stay put and take whoever doesnt go at #2, whether thats Ferguson or Williams. Both would fill needs and not require the loss of anything else.

And I still think the Texans should trade away the #1 because they could get a king's ransom and fill there numerous holes, one of which ISNT the RB position.

Neither do the lions. Oh wait, we did get that fat, lazy, slow "stud" of a wideout in Mike Williams who was "the best player available" at last years draft. the lions are the worst fucking franchise in pro sports.

saints will end up with williams, one way or another.

more than likely by drafting leinart and trading with new york, like said before. tennessee will take leinart or young at 3, i think leinart if he's there. and for some reason, the jets are in love with leinart. even though they'd be better off filling other holes with the talent that will be there at 4.

the more i think of leinart, the less i like him. Merril Hodge said something about he watched tons of film on him and said that though he's "accurate", he's got terrible ball placement and that many of his completions in college (the 4th down pass against ND this past season) would be batted down or just intercepted.

agreed, but they can trade him for a pick still or keep him around, have a sick combo (since Bush may not be able to take all the beating in his 1st season), and then maybe trade him off for next year's draft.

I don't think you can pass up a guy who can be a return man, running back, and slot reciever all in one.

I totally agree. Although I think Pennington sucks, and Ramsey's so underrated.

I don't think the Jets should take a QB this year, but they probably will. Young's going to be a huge bust (I seriously don't see how he's so high on the draft board), they'd be dumb to take him. He's seriously just like Kordell Stewart (QB wise), except Kordell's better. And look how Kordell's career turned out.

If Jets are going to take any QB, they should be getting Leinart. I still don't think that they should take a QB this year.

Yeah I agree with your agreed. (haha yes) and I also agree to an extent about what you said after that. The thing is, they have a pro bowl return man, the most underrated RB in the league, a great WR in Andre Johnson, and a veteran WR in Eric Moulds. (way past his prime but he's still decent)

I would seriously trade the pick if they want to win games and prepare for the future. They could get a ton for Bush.

i'm a titans fan and i hope to holy hell that they draft vince young. they won't draft d'brick. to be honest, it could be between vince young and cutler.

but do you want to be the one to be blamed for trading away the pick if reggie bush fulfills all his potential?

vince young is a bust. i bet even andre ware thinks he'll be a bust. And matt leinart will be a pretty good qb but i don't see him being good enough to ever fulfill whats expected of a top 5 pick. and jay cutler? Please, he's not even a 1st round draft pick, let alone top ten. At least, he shouldn't be.

from what i've heard they've ruled out cutler and it was down to young and leinart.

i understand he was a great college quarterback, but i don't understand how anybody hopes their team picks him. i don't think he'll be a very successuful pro. and i'm not alone in that thinking.

yeah, Vince isn't looking too good in his future.

I know...I mean with the comparisons he was getting, imagine being the guy who decided not to draft like Barry Sanders or Jerry Rice...even if you make 3 incredible picks wiht what you get in return, it's still a loss
