Yet another idea borrowed from the only other forum I frequent, I'm curious how many people would be interested in this. It's basically like a book club with movies. It works like this:

1. People post suggestions for a category of the month (i.e. "Female Directors," "Action Movies," "Favorite Comedies," etc.) in the official thread, which I suppose would be this one.
2. After a given amount of time, I post the choices in a poll and people vote one what they would want to do for the month.
3. I take the names of all the people interested for that given month (you can do as few or as many as you like) and draw names. The first name drawn is the dictator (the person who chooses the film) and the second name drawn is the dictatee (the person who watches/reviews the film). This is done until everyone is both a dictator and a dictatee.
4. You have until the end of the month to watch your movie and post a review/write-up of it in the thread for that month.

Sounds a bit confusing, but it's really not. Ideally, would like to have ten people a month for this to really have a point. I can always include/preclude myself for a given month if there's an odd number.

If you go to this thread http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=1292042 you will find your name under dictator and see that your subject is WordzandDreamz. PM him a list of 2 or 3 films that fit the theme so he can tell you if he's seen them. If he hasn't, choose one for him and post it in the thread so Teej can update the first post.

No you have WordzandDreamz, people aren't paired up to each other, it's just completely random to allow for more variety in the future. So just send 'em a PM with the movie they are to watch, and post it in that thread, so I can update the main post.
