I picked up his CD a while ago, not too bad. He sampled a Circa song in one of his songs, which is pretty good street rep for me.

If this is the guy who samples indie and pop rock, punk bands some of the stuff is cool.

I wouldn't listen to it on a constant basis, but clever.

Was this the guy that sampled a couple of Dance Gavin Dance songs? I remember those being pretty bomb.

i submitted this as news the other day, but i guess it's not gonna get posted... BUT Hyro Da Hero is currently in the studio working on a new album. he's got a band backing up apparently, made up of members of Blood Brothers, Idiot Pilot, and At The Drive-In!

Maybe there is such thing as good hip hop after all..
I wonder if theres any punk influenced hip hop out there, that'd be cool.
