Three is definitely the best, but I got to give some cred to the original, just because its the original. I really love all three though.

I loved 2. It was cool playing as different characters and having each character have their own unique feature. Oh well, doesn't seem like anyone agrees with me, haha.

Haha 2 is like the bastard child of the Mario games. So weird. No timer, no points, nothing at the top of the screen...it was very weird

They made a game in Japan called Doki Doki Panic. For the US release, they just slapped the Mario likenesses in there and changed the names.
