The winner will advance and face either Modest Mouse or Death Cab For Cutie in the next round.

i like gatsby and all ..but i think its a little absurd in the grand scheme of things if they were to defeat the shins. i can't say i'm suprised though since the majority of gatsby's fan base could be found on this site and the same can't be said for the shins.

I don't think its fair to put two bands who sound nothing a like next to each other...you should have put the shins next to Iron and Wine or something else...not GAD.

I don't even understand how anyone thought these two bands could compare. The Shins are lyrical and musical geniuses, but sceners' loss. Two of their best songs, but maybe you should listen further than the Garden State soundtrack.
