even though no one is hear right now, i was wondering if age really matters alot in a relationship.
All i see are older guys going out with younger girls, i hardly ever see the reverse. Why is that?
The girl i like is 16, and im 14. Im taller than her, and she says im a lot smarter, and i dont think im immature. But it seems like theres a HUGE gap in between. Wat do u guys think?

thanks, and yea, i don't really think it makes too much a difference, especially if you're at the "high school age". it really shouldn't matter, so long as you guys really like each other and are comfortable with it.
i like her alot, but i have no clue if she likes me back Weve been good freinds for a long time though
age doesnt mean a thing as long as u are both feelin the love. haha. but serious 2 yrs is nuthin.
the younger the members of the relationship are, the more age seems to matter, my parents are like 6 years apart, but you would never see a 12 year old date a 18 year old....its all relative
yeah thats tru, the older you get the less it matters. but i think 14 & 16 is ok. but if u were any younger sigh, it wouldnt work so much i dont think.

i dated a senior and im a sophomore....but the other thing was is that he had a sister that was the same age as me......that really freaked me out...and yea so 2 years is nothing.....just ask her if she is ok going out with you ......it might freak her out..but it shouldnt .....lets hope she doesnt have a brother the same age as you....freaky

I'm 16 and i like a guy that's 14.... he's actually pretty mature. It's kinda wierd, but he's a freshman, and i'm a sophmore... so he will be 15 soon. We don't fit eachother either and it's kinda wierd... but yeah 2 years isnt that big of a deal

her brothers a yaer younger then me, weve been like best friends since along time.

Beat this. My sister started working at Lowe's and this guy named Jim started buying her tons of presents. A new TV, VCR, and DVD Player. He bought her a cellphone and one night while we were all smoking he tried to give her $90. Now they are seeing each other.... the thing is she is 21 and he is 41. Now that's an age gap.

i don't think the age really matters unless it's more than 3 years. I'm 18 and my g/f is 15 but I just turned 18 2 months ago and she will be 16 in august.

usually the reason that young girls like older guys is because they are mess up because their daddys are gone or are assholes.
they are trying to simulate the abuse from the negative attention by their fathers.
There is a reason why it is against the law for a 20 year old and a 15 year old to be together. Any guy who has to have a relationship with someone younger, has problems getting chicks his own age (gee I wonder why!!!!)

I was in your same situation and ill i can say is go for it. Itll either feel good or so weird you'll just be friends. either way you wont completly lose her

Age dosn't matter. I've dated girls both younger and older then me. As long as I can have decent conversation, I'm happy. unless thay are like 11 years old. I learned my lesson after hearing her pelvis snap....

i can top that: i'm a freshman (in highschool) and i'm going out with a senior. so to answer your question: no.

Yea, my gf is a sophomore and i'm a jr, no problem.. Except for at parties that get busted and she is a minor.... but um, hopefully that wont happen again.

it's crazy cause it's me. i haven't even dated girls my won age. it prolly won't work cause it's me. i have the worst luck with girls. whenever i think it could be more they always just want to be friends.

thats not true at all. my boyfriend is older than me, not my much, but im not dating him because i have a bad relationship with my father, and he's not dating me because he cant get chicks his own age, we love eachother. that comment is just a generalization of guys that go out with girls ALOT younger than them. keyword being alot.
and to answer your question, sigh, i don't think that 2 years is that big of a deal. I mean if the younger party were a girl, it wouldn't matter, but its not, and that still shouldn't affect it, so my advice to you would be go ahead and persue things with this chick.
