i've heard the album and its not a garbage album, hes taken his songwriting a step forward and made an album that sounds nothing like any other bands that are around just now. just because he wrote a joke song doesnt mean he isnt capable of writing a good album

i really like this album. it's very feel good and optimistic for the most part. there are songs like war and it hurts that aren't that uplifting, but for the most part i feel pretty great listening to this. i will be purchasing it

they make this article sound like Angels & Airwaves is just a bunch of other bands thrown into a blender. MTV never likes to let a band have it's own unique sound without comparing it to other bands they've overplayed on TRL for the past 20 years.

I think this album lives up to all the hype..i thought tom was crazy to say the things he did about it..i thought he was just fucking around..but if you really listen it is a god like album..if you look into the whole feel of the album its trying to be your friend..its trying to be there..its trying to be like your god..might be a tad pretencious..but i think it is effective .

Of COURSE it didn't live up to the hype...the way he was hyping it, only God himself could come down and write a better album (actually I think he said something similar to that too). It's a shame he hyped it up that much because even though he was joking people take him too seriously. It did get people listening though. And Saves the day's new one a disappointment??? Really? I am loving this album right now, along with AVA.

he really did hype it up to the point where almost nothing could meet everyones high expectations but with that said if you put all that to the side its a really refreshing sound

i think you all should do what he recommended to do..take whatever illegal drugs you perfer and put on the headphones and go for a journey..its true..and i think thats the only way this album would have hit me so hard..i love it..and i think it lives up to all the hype..IMO
