not to be cliche and hate on this band......but did Joe raid Julian Casablancas wardrobe after the First Impressions of Earth promo shoot and steal his Sgt. Pepper-esque suit. MOTHERFUCKER!

Maybe he sold it to Joe for a pretty penny since he's probably not making much off of their new record's sales. Or should I say not selling? A million people in a million bands wear jackets like that (Sam Endicott from The Bravery sticks out in my mind... and that video came out way before those Strokes photos). Stop trying to argue for the sake of arguing.

These shows seem crazy, complete with pyro and all. FOB has adapted to arenas from small clubs so well.

....the strokes were, are, and will always be a better band than FOB.....a band that happens to be one of the worst in recent memory.

Except you didn't say that in your post. You made a crack about Fall Out Boy jocking The Strokes' style, which is complete bullshit. I'm not saying The Strokes aren't talented and I'm not saying that The Strokes aren't more talented than FOB, but that doesn't change the fact that FOB is a million times more successful or the fact that your comment was ridiculously stupid.

first off, i was saying it in kind of a joking manner, just because someone always finds some reason to tear into FOB......i thought you came back at me kind of hostile, so i came back like that. sorry im i came off mean. but FOB still sucks.....just had to throw that in there.

Does anyone else think the layers upon layers of clothing they are wearing to play a show is a little bit ridiculous. I mean jeeze it really must be hot in all that stuff.
