Why do people think the Seahawks will be good this year? I don't understand it. Hasselback is past his prime. The receiving corp is weak at best, even with the addition of TJ. Jones and James are going to be added together and still won't equate to an average NFL starter. And the defense is above average at best.
Carolina will do good if they can stay healthy. Unfortunately, we have a lot of starters injured already but hopefully most of them will be back by week 1.

Titans 2 teh superbowlz!!!!
haha, but really, i think they have a good enough all around team to get there, so why not? i didn't pick them to win it all at least. The AFCs going to be a lot tougher this year, but they're a better team than they were last year.

and with all the people picking the texans to make the playoffs i hope it comes true. i'd really like to see them do well. unfortunately that would mean that i'd end up liking them a whole lot less because then they'd be a legit threat to the titans. sucks to have the only team in the leauge that you'd actually want to root for in the same division as your favirote team.

i disagree. losing haynesworth hurts them more than any of their additions help.
Texans aren't making the playoff...I can't believe the people that think they will.

and i disagree with that. The Titans offense is better, they're deeper on defense now and have a really really good rotation of D lineman that while they might not be Haynesworth, they can get the job done. Also Vanden Bosh looks to be at full strength this year, he was battling injuries all season last year.
They might not have the same game changing run D they had last year, but i still think they have one of the better ones. that and a deeper D and an improved offense > Haynesworth (who I expect to have a letdown year).

It all depends on the health of the offense. Their D is solid enough to win a good amount of games if that offense is healthy and clicking.

It all depends on whether Schaub stays healthy. If so, their offense is very dangerous, and their defense has improved greatly over the past few years. Mario Williams is a sackmaster.

How about some awards predictions?
MVP - Brady - I'm counting on a huge comeback year
Defensive POY - Ed Reed
Offensive Rookie - Donald Brown (i'm guessing Adai gets hurt)
Defensive Rookie - Brian Orakpo
Comeback POY - Brady

Comeback by Brady is damn near a lock, almost not fair.
why does everyone think that philly is gonna be great this year. they dont have a shot unless westbrook can stay healthy and hes coming back from surgery

--I must say though, now 1 month into the season. I would love to take back the Predictions of New England and Pittsburgh and not to mention Tennessee. Seattle will fall-- oops. Giants look great, Saints look better then I could have dreamed. Peyton may still win that 2nd ring, but there are alot of teams that could beat him. LT and Rivers will get hurt when it matters most... Philly needs McNabb back for me to be even CLOSE with that call but although I think Minnesota looks sharp... there is NO WAY Favre will make it through the playoffs... he will get hurt, but I still say they win the division.
