Some suggestions:

+ Make a shortlist of the films you're considering dictating and send them in a PM to your subject, to make sure what they have/haven't seen.
+ When you decide what your subject will be watching, make a post to the effect of "[name] will be watching [name of film].
+ Normally, there will be three threads; the poll before the MDC for the month starts, this thread for the assignments, and then the thread for the write-ups.
+ Once a movie has been chosen, it can't be picked again.

and then maybe some sort of rating.

For the rating, I was thinking something that characterizes how highly you would recommend the film rather than how good you think the film is (yes, they are slightly different). Maybe something like 1 to 5 *s. 1 being "stay away at all costs" and 5 being "see this film as soon as possible".

Just a few things I think would be helpful to everyone reading the write ups. Outside of that, TJ said a few pages back that the write ups can take any form.
