What did you do that's considered pushing the envelope?
I accidently flirt with anyone I see, and I don't realize I am until it's too late. I guess I don't know what the boundary between being friendly and flirty is because the all my friends are really close and we have unusual relationships

From the way you're describing things, it seems that this uh, friendliness is apart of your personality, which should be accepted by others. On the other side, I see how someone could get upset and not understand because they know the boundaries themselves. I guess it all boils down to the whole treat people how you want to be treated, and think before you speak. There's no real advice I have to give, but I think you should definitely talk about it instead of feeling bad about it. It's not really a personality flaw. I mean, you could be an asshole to everyone in stark contrast, and I know I wouldn't prefer that. Haha.

Thanks, but I'm not really looking for sympathy here. I screwed something really good up because of my personality deformation. I do try to think before I speak, but a lot of the time, it gets considered to be over-friendly (apparently), even though at first glance, I just assume it to be innocent and friendly.

it's not a personality deformation as you put it. if you do it unintentionally, be more aware of it. it's great that you realize it hurts your girlfriend now but the only way you can fix it is if you control yourself.

So I'm assuming this is what you told me about earlier. In my opinion, the best thing you can do is talk to her about this, be completely honest about this whole thing, tell her that you're too friendly with everyone and you're having trouble controlling it. If she understands she'll obviously agree you have this ''problem'' and she'll get off your back about it and support you. Just tell her how much you really want to fix this so it doesn't bother her, because you do care about the relationship, and about her. That's all I can think of right now, I don't know if this is the kind of advice you wanted, but good luck.

its been so long since i've had time to write a real journal. i dont like writin it at home, for some reason it just doesnt feel right. about that dream i had, it was such a messed up dream. i dont wanna describe for fear of insultin someone i know, its by no means overly offensive but whatevs. i woke up and thought "wtf was that about" it gave a weird feelin, like i was feelin bad about it but confused at the same time. it bothered me all of yesterday, it still resonates today. i think it was what the idea behind the action that offended me instead of the action in the dream itself. i wrote a poem of sorts durin calculus yesterday. it first came up the day before yesterday as i was fallin sleep. i think i'll post it sometime.
