Any ladies in here live with guys? I currently live with 2 girls, and am moving this week, only thing is, Im moving in with 3 guys...I have a feeling this is going to be a disaster. Im only living with them for 4 and a half months or so..one of them is my boyfriend...whos a neat freak(good thing), and the other 2 aren't so neat. Actually one of them is a downright slob...I more or less have no choice of living there cuse, A. I cannot afford a place of my own, my current roomies are moving back with their parents, which I cannot do cuse there is no more room there(my brother took over my room when I moved) and no one else I know is looking to move..so there is my situation..just wanted to know if any ladies, or guys knew of a good way to gently tell a roomie to clean his fn shit up. Thanks in advance :thumbsup:
I don't know if this will help but I like living with girls better because I'm kinda a neat freak as well, and I'm essentially like a girl. The only thing I don't like is the DRAMA that you tend to get.
Just don't show up demanding respect and acting like you own the place. You'll be fine.

ohhh I know this...I have my own room, and I already feel like Im in total debt to them for letting me live there(I mean I am paying rent, utilities, etc) but I feel completely in debt to them for letting my live there until Sept...but Ive been there many a time before(seeing as how my boyfriend lives there) and I know one of them is a total slob...and takes peoples food without asking, etc...I dunno, I just hope he at least realizes I will be living there now, and that he shouldn't expect me to clean up after him(likes hes been kinda saying to me, and the other guys. He told me hes excited cuse the bathroom and kitchen will always be clean with me living there...which I guess is true, yet I dont want to have to pick up after him constantly....) My boyfriend already complains about him...ahh well..hopefully itll all work out ok. but thanks :)

Invest in a knife. No one bosses around someone who owns a knife. You don't have to use it, just pull it out and start swinging like you're crazy. Works like a charm.

Use a trident, it's much more badass. And if you do stab someone with it, maybe lay low for a couple of days, because you'll probably be wanted for murder

Trust me, when you live with a girl that isn't the gf, you do not want to see nudity. You end up seeing them at their most unattractive times - and plus, they're annoying haha.

I almost moved into a house full of guys but ended up deciding against it, the house was just too far from campus but good luck with it. Just make sure they know that you aren't going to be cleaning up after them because you are moving in.

yeah..ive been moving the last couple of days, and lemme tell you..its a pain in my ass. the last 2 times I moved(from parents to dorm, than dorm to apt.) was alright, cuse I was excited about moving out of my parents house, than moving out of the dorms, but this time, its really no different, so..this time..moving isnt so fun. Luckily the guys have been really good about it, and helping as much as they can. Plus, I guess I cant complain too much, cuse rent is dirt, dirt cheap

Moving is such a pain in the ass. I live on the 4th floor with no elevator. I want to kill myself at the end of the semester, plus I have to take finals in between trips on the stairs. Good luck with the new apartment though.

ooooh 4th floor, that is a bummer..yeah so far my desk broke...which is a bitch, but im only living at this place for the summer(till Sept.) so im thinking about just forgetting about getting a desk, and waiting until I move.....again. *sigh* it just sucks, cuse I gotta be out soon, and my parents are out of town, so its basically just me and my boyfriend, and friends when they can help(between classes, and fam stuff)..plus Im also supposed to be watching my dog(who currently lives with my parents)...i just want the week to be over..unfortunately, its Monday. lol but thanks :thumbsup:

I live with 2 guys & one other girl. I don't really think you can ask a guy to clean up his shit and expect him to do it. I've just gotten used to doing all their shit. :shrugs:

that isnt happening here, theres no way Ill clean up after any of them..maybe my boyfriend once and awhile, but he has cleaned up my shit..so yeah...so far its going alright...they guys have been pretty nice, and they actually cleaned the rest of the apartment for me(or so they said)
