I'm heading off to europe soon and gonna do the whole backpaking bit. Any band recommendations as far as music goes? Looking for that self discovering, epic sounding music (Not the Devil Wears Prada definition of "epic")

This seems like it would be perfect for what you're doing. I know that if I ever go backpacking, this will definitely be my soundtrack.

When I climbed to the top of Mt. Jefferson in NH I listened to At The Drive-In all the way up. For some weird reason, it was extremely effective.
