I remember a while back I did a favorite intros poll, now here's a poll of my favorite endings to some of my favorite songs. Choose which song ending you think is best.
Remember you're rating just the ending, not the song or the band.

Gotta be TBS (or AVA) thank you for not including "Soco Amaretto..." (which would have surely won)

Voted STD... but AVA, TBS, and Silverstein were close behind. I mean, really. They all are great endings. Good poll, sir.

Interesting poll. TBS took it for me, mostly for nostalgia.

Thanks.
By the way, I noticed so far no votes for "Battle On." Anyone who's a metalcore fan should check out that song from War of Ages' self-titled album (not Fire From the Tomb - bad re-recording). Quite possibly my favorite metalcore song I've heard.

Thats actually the only song I wasn't familiar with, although I'm not a big metalcore fan... I'll check it out on your recommendation.

The Cambiata's Roswell ending. My favorite lyric of all time.
"Push all the livid out..." for three intense minutes out of the nine minutes it lasts.

Cool, let me know what you think. It might not be the most groundbreaking or creative song, but it was one of the first metalcore songs I ever heard, so it's stuck with me and I still enjoy it now.

I voted for The Movelife, but then noticed that STD's "Firefly" was in the running. Regret. Both are great songs, though.

Would rather listen to the end of Forget What You Know (the album) and the 7 minute loop to finish it out. Fantastic.

This.
The only band I really liked from your list was Straylight Run so I had to go with that. I don't think the ending is particularly spectacular, but it's a great song.

Of course. Angels & Airwaves' Heaven.
Silverstein followed very, very closely by Taking Back Sunday, then Existentialism on Prom Night

these songs suck. forget this shit, make a poll for best lyrics in a simple song
Spitalfield "If you said that you were leaving, I'd asked where we were going"
Blink 182
"When I needed you most
When I needed a friend
You let me down now
Like I let you down then"

Straylight, then TBS.
And the Funeral For A Friend track deserves some love also. Was tempted to vote for that one, so damn good.

I went with STD. Many of those choices are good though. However, my all time FAVORITE ending to ANY SONG is Story of the year's "is this my fate...". i'm sorry but absolutely NOTHING gives me a larger erection than the ending to that song. Crank it as loud as it goes and it is freaking heaven. Wow, i'll always be obsessed with that ending.

"Child of Dust" by Thrice.
Oooooo touche. That song live is what got me into earth and air. I was one of the late bloomers to accept their new direction in music. However, after seeing dustin and teppei sing this song live i was one hundred percent converted. The feeling and emotion they put into it was honestly life changing. It completely changed the way i look at music. WEIRD RIIIGHT?!?! OMG!!! ;)
